Dice Size and Weight Comparison



You can probably remember the first time you held a set of Metal Dice in your hand, and how it felt to roll them.  When I first rolled a metal set the first thought that came to my mind was, "These things are like the ring of power, when Bilbo dropped it onto his floor in The Fellowship of the Ring!"  Kaathunk!

In general, our Die Hard Original die cast sets weigh around 5 to 6 times more than typical polymer dice.  The Gothica sets are slightly lighter with exception of D20 which is heavier, and Aluminum sets are about half as heavy, but still about twice as heavy as polymer dice.



All of our dice sets are about the same size as standard Chessex plastic dice.  See the table below for precise measurements.
