Our line of Die Hard Metal dice are die cast in a zinc alloy, then thick plated with other metals through a process called electroplating to give them the desired finish.
The process of die casting differs from the process that most of us might imagine, where molten metal is poured into a mold. With Die casting, molten metal is injected at high pressure into the mold, ensuring even weight distribution.
Differing from standard polymer based dice(plastic, acrylic, epoxy & resin), when metal dice come out of the mold they are not tumbled to remove any marks that remain from the molding process, instead, they are polished by hand. If you look closely, you may see evidences of this. Overall, they are more fair than tumbled plastic dice.
